REVIEW BLUE MOUNTAIN LODGE
We greatly appreciate if you write a review about Blue Mountain Lodge.
The food was beautifully presented and delicious. with a simple yet compressive menu that catered for all. Room was very grand and a wonderful place to relax. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
Our engagement weekend
The place has friendly stuff, recently re-opened, prestigious and luxurious, calm environment, good for romantic getaways. Extremely suitable for wedding ceremony and exclusive business meetings. There are exclusive presidential houses where Mr Nelson Mandela former president of the Republic of South Africa once stayed. The lodge offers prestigious stay.
Spectacular views & super service
Upon arrival, you instantly feel calm and relaxed when you see the lush gardens, the classy reception area and the beautiful views.
It only got better when they showed us our room. Spacious and luxurious , this Victorian suites are just amazing. The bathroom, including a bathtub with a view of the valleys and mountains around Hazyview/Sabie, is simply jaw-dropping.
Service was excellent, we instantly felt at home. Diner was great… Breakfast was delicious as well.
We definitely enjoyed our time at Blue Mountain Lodge, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a few (luxurious) days of peace and quiet in the mountains near Hazyview.
Beautiful hotel in a top location. We spent three days, one night at the Victorian suite and then we were moved to the Ballontyne suite because it was feared that we would be disturbed by a group of sixteen Italian tourists. Very attentive, just too cold in August to take advantage of the small lap pool of Ballontyne suite. Lunch on arrival was absolutely fine, dinner was not, however, in our real taste. Too complicated dishes, too many flavors together. But super friendly staff. Your car is washed every morning.
Good food, you can dine fine here. Nice pool, nice rooms.
